Time: The Past and Future, Pivoting on the Present.

Time measures perception. Time is a concept used by sentient beings to organize and understand the world around them. Time acts as a measurement tool and record-keeper, enabling us to track events, make sense of experiences, and plan for the future.

On the other hand, the universe is shaped by fundamental forces and interactions, such as motion, gravity, anti-gravity, and matter. While it takes time for these processes to unfold, time itself is not a factor in the universe’s formation. These forces govern the behavior of celestial bodies, the formation of galaxies and stars, and the evolution of the cosmos on a grand scale. Together, they contribute to the intricate and awe-inspiring tapestry of the universe.

Albert Einstein’s iconic equation E=mc², introduced in 1905, revolutionized our understanding of mass and energy. Later his time dilation theory t = γ(t’)  states that time appears to pass slower for an observer in motion relative to a stationary observer. While other scientists have subsequently built upon Einstein’s work to develop theories related to time travel, Einstein himself never explicitly linked his famous formula to time travel. 

Through advancements in science and technology, there may come a time when humans are able to manipulate and bend space via gravity (anti-gravity) — bringing distant points close enough to touch and making travel no longer time-consuming. 

Time is intricately connected to the universe

Altering the past in one room would ripple through this area, the world, the solar system, the galaxy, the occurrence and ultimately the entire universe. The past is immutable, yet it can be observed through the lens of the spiritual realm. Everything exists in the present moment.

Likewise, venturing into the future is an impossibility. Humanity’s future is merely a heartbeat away, influenced by variables of probability shaped by randomness and free will in the present. The future in distant galaxies, where free will is not a factor, relies solely on randomness.

Contrary to the notion that the future is predetermined, it is yet to unfold, contingent upon a blend of randomness and free will. While individuals can predict certain personal actions, such as swallowing water, where only one free will is involved, the future becomes increasingly uncertain when multiple individuals participate in decision-making. When combined with randomness, predicting the future becomes nearly impossible. However, the advancement of quantum computations may provide tools to forecast probabilities, albeit without absolute certainty like the past.

An ordinary person can anticipate the outcome of a group’s decision if they are privy to the opinions of the group in advance. Similarly, we can predict the sunrise tomorrow morning based on our knowledge of the earth’s rotation every 24 hours. These predictions rely on understanding rather than witnessing the future.

An individual gifted with the ability to perceive and interpret the resonance of thoughts, images, emotions, and vibrations in the universe may gain insights into the future. The universe, crafted by God, is a realm ripe for exploration, and the future is influenced by a combination of randomness and humanity’s collective freedom of choice. God, being omnipresent, encompasses time, and even for Him, the future remains a realm of possibilities yet to unfold.

Time remains an intricate concept that measures perception, organizes experiences, and provides a framework for understanding the universe.  While theories and speculations about manipulating time and space abound, humanity is far from achieving the fantasy of time travel.

Instead, the future unfolds moment by moment, governed by randomness, free will, and the ever-present influence of gravity and anti-gravity—the force that binds or destroys the cosmos. As we continue to explore the mysteries of the universe, we will come to appreciate more deeply that time is one of the most precious commodities in life—once it passes, it can never be regained.

Destiny or Fate through time: The Paths We Walk

The concept of destiny has long fascinated humanity. Some view it as a predetermined path laid out by divine will or cosmic alignment; others see it as a culmination of choices shaped by upbringing, education, and mentorship. In truth, both perspectives hold weight.

During our formative years, the beliefs and values instilled by caregivers and teachers shape how we perceive the world and our place within it. These influences form the scaffolding upon which we build our lives. A child raised in an environment of discipline, vision, and ethical grounding may seem destined for greatness—yet this “destiny” is not mysticism. It is cultivation.

Natural talents also play a role: the gifted child in music, science, leadership, or art often drifts toward opportunities that encourage those abilities. When preparation meets potential, a path emerges—not because fate ordained it, but because choice, effort, and opportunity converge through time. To the outside observer, this may look like fate. In truth, it is the unfolding of alignment.

But destiny is not static. It is not a finish line waiting in the distance. It is a trajectory revealed through time, layer by layer, choice by choice. Each moment offers a fork—not between fate and freedom, but between clarity and complacency.

Time doesn’t trap destiny; it reveals it. And while patterns may repeat in what appear to be cycles, these repetitions are not loops of sameness—they are spirals of learning. The same challenge may return, but never with the same steward. Each cycle is a higher rung, a chance to act with greater wisdom than before.

This is not destiny in the traditional sense. It is not the result of grooming or privilege.

Instead, it stems from the power of self-awareness and inner drive—the ability to learn from mistakes, to adapt, to persevere. It is born from a relentless “want-to,” an unshakable determination to move forward and seek something better. Some are gifted not with academic credentials, but with an extraordinary degree of common sense, discernment, and reasoning. They learn from life directly, through observation, trial, error, and deep reflection.

These individuals remind us that while destiny may be influenced by environment and talent, it can also be rewritten by character. They do not follow a path—they create one. Their greatness is not foretold by lineage or luck, but forged in the fires of adversity and clarity of purpose.

In this way, destiny is never a privilege reserved for the fortunate—it is an open possibility for those who choose to grow, to rise, and to act with intention.

Destiny isn’t a destination—it’s a calling that unfolds through action, learning, and even course correction. Time provides the arena for this becoming:

• Each moment is a chance to align or deviate

• Every setback refines the path

• Delay is not denial—it might even be preparation

From a stewardship lens, destiny is never passive. The steward does not wait for fate—he walks with time, discerning what is right through each interval of choice.

The Multidimensional Passage of Time

Human beings, bound by their physical form, perceive time as a steady, linear progression—from birth to death. Yet throughout the universe, other sentient beings, depending on their physical composition and environment, may experience this same linear flow at varying speeds. Time remains linear, but its tempo is relative to the nature of their physical existence.

In the spirit world, time continues to move forward, but all souls experience it in a shared, consistent manner. Because souls are eternal and unbound by decay, time may appear inconsequential to them—at least from the limited viewpoint of the living. This perception helps the human mind grasp the profound contrast between temporal life and eternal spirit.

Still, in the spirit realm, time does not halt or lose its meaning. Free will remains sacred, and all souls continue to be held accountable for their choices and the consequences they carry—regardless of the realm in which they exist.

Conclusion: The Steward’s Reckoning with Time

Time is not a force to be conquered, nor a mystery to be solved—it is the canvas upon which we etch our will. The past cannot be altered, and the future cannot be visited. But the present? It is where all power resides.

We may speak of destiny or fate, but these are only meaningful if they move us to ask: What am I to do with my limited time?

This is not a question of mysticism. It is a call to action. To speak what others silence. To build what others abandon. To protect what others exploit. To walk the spiral of time not in repetition, but in elevation.
